Determination is what painter Dean Mitchell says helped him find success in a fine arts career.
Of course, one look at the paintings the Tampa, Fla., artist has entered in this year’s Prix de West Invitational Art Exhibition & Sale prompts the notion that talent and hard work also were keys to that success.
Mitchell is among the 99 artists invited to participate in the 44th annual Prix de West Art Invitational, scheduled for Friday and Saturday at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City.
